Spring - Vinschgau is covered by a sea of flowers
Here, spring is an adventure. Observe the blooming of millions of apple trees and the scented air in the entire valley. During clear spring nights the frost irrigation is activated in order to protect the flowers. The entire valley turns into a magic forest of ice flowers over night. Cycling tours and hikes through the orchards or along the irrigation channels at the warm Sonnenberg slope are amongst the most popular activities.
Summer
Summer offers lots of opportunities too: be it hiking to a cosy alpine hut, to high peaks or to secluded alpine lakes, be it an exciting mountain-bike tour, playing tennis or a visit to one of the many outdoor pools; Vinschgau offers something for every taste and for any temperament.
Autumn
Autumn is "Törggele" time. The grapes and apples ripen and you can smell the smoke of fire and roast chestnuts. This is the right time for a comfortable autumn hike, the time to sit together and to the taste the new wine.
